Ethics Complaints

As a condition of membership in the Suburban West REALTORS® Association, the real estate licensee agrees to abide by the Code of Ethics. Anyone, whether a member of the public or another REALTOR®, may file a complaint of unethical conduct against a REALTOR® if they feel the agent's actions may have violated the code. A complaint must be filed (received in the Association office) within 180 days after the facts constituting the matter complained of could have been known in the exercise of reasonable diligence.

These are the necessary forms to file an ethics complaint against a REALTOR®. It is important to read the instructions and review all the information before completing the forms. Arbitration Request

These are the forms and information necessary to request Arbitration. Please review the checklist attached to insure proper and complete filing of your request. It is important to include ALL pertinent documents with your request. The Designated REALTOR® must sign all requests for arbitration.

A request for arbitration must be filed within 180 days after the closing of the transaction, if any, or within 180 days after the facts constituting the matter could have been known in the exercise of reasonable diligence, whichever is later.
