Appraisal license renewal must be completed by June 30, 2009. All appraisal licensees must complete a total of 28 hours of continuing education as part of their renewal. 7 hours must be in the required USPAP course and 2 hours in the Pennsylvania Statutes class. The remaining 19 hours may be in approved electives. Both required and elective appraiser courses are being offered by the School.

The FHA & VA Appraiser: Thriving and Surviving
Because of the recent credit crunch, more and more buyers are looking at FHA and VA loans as a viable alternative. This class addresses the requirements both for becoming a FHA Roster Appraiser and a VA Fee Panel Appraiser. It provides an understanding of the historical and present needs for FHA and VA programs and focuses on the most current FHA appraisal requirements – including inspection and reporting. General conduct and business practices are also discussed.
