Effective Negotiating for Real Estate Professionals
(ABR Elective)
Our own experiences in negotiating have helped crystallize some principles that work in a variety of situations. Studying negotiation helps organize what we have learned from our own experience so as to help in the development of a structure that will aid us in future negotiations. The objective of this course is for each participant to master and implement the skills and techniques involved in overcoming negotiating barriers. You will analyze how communication styles may help or hinder the negotiation process and learn how to use positional bargaining and value negotiating effectively in order to prevent impasse from occurring and consequently producing successful real estate transactions.
