Revisions to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) have been recently approved and among these changes is the requirement of a revised Good Faith Estimate and HUD-1 forms. Lenders and settlement providers must use these new forms by January 1st but may begin using them earlier. While these changes do not affect real estate licensees directly, they can impact your client. Learn how these changes affect the transaction and be ready to assist your clients.
