A certificate program typically involves a single course as compared to a group of courses for a designation. The following are certificate programs that are approved by the National Association of REALTORS®:
Seniors Real Estate Specialist:
Someone once said, “When you are young you go to a doctor. When you are old you go to a specialist.” This course will help you become the specialist that seniors in your marketplace will turn to for their real estate needs. Pennsylvania is second only to Florida in senior population. This class will allow students to develop tools to serve this growing market. Upon completion of this two-day course, the student will also earn the SRES Designation. This course satisfies the elective course for the ABR designation.
e-PRO
e-PRO is the only NAR approved Internet Certification Program. The e-PRO Certification Program is specifically designed to keep you on top of changes and help you thrive in the exciting and rewarding world of online real estate. Real Estate Professional Assistant (REPA)
This course is a comprehensive two-day certificate program that provides an intensive introduction to the real estate business and to the specific ways support staff can become valuable assets to their employers. Every administrative employee in the brokerage office, from the listing secretary to the personal assistant, will benefit tremendously from this quick-start program. Employers will save time and money with this resource for professional training while giving new employees a sense of “belonging” and “career” that comes from identification with the industry.
