These are the licensing renewal requirements as set by the individual state Real Estate Commissions and are accurate as of the publication date of this catalog. Changes made by the real estate commissions, if any, will be posted to www.realtors-school.com.

Pennsylvania Real Estate License Renewal: All Pennsylvania real estate licensees must renew their license every two years. The current renewal period ends May 31, 2008. The Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission requires all real estate licensees to complete 14 elective hours of education each renewal period. There are no mandatory topics for this renewal period. All coursework may be completed in elective topics approved by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission.

*New or reactivated Pennsylvania Licensees - Initial Renewal Period Only – If the first license was issued in the last six months of the renewal period (June 1, 2006– May 31, 2008) the licensee does not have to complete continuing education. However, the licensee must complete the renewal application and pay the appropriate fees to the Real Estate Commission.
