About: Real World Real Estate is designed to provide students with a high level of knowledge and understanding regarding key areas of real estate practice. It will bridge the gap between textbook licensing education and the real world of real estate. The general module focuses on issues applicable to all licensees in any transaction. It serves as the foundation for material to be presented in the other modules. The Residential Module develops the skills appropriate for providing the highest level of service to consumers in residential transactions. Topics include:
  • Uniform construction code & zoning
  • Environmental issues
  • Types of construction
  • Land development
  • Home inspections & home warranties
  • Mortgage information
  • Fair housing
  • Agreements of sale
  • Case studies from real estate & disciplinary actions

Credits: 7 hours PA 10-12 Real Estate License Renewal
