| Broker Licensing Elective Courses
In Pennsylvania, broker licensees must acquire a prescribed level of professional real estate education. Fulfillment of the education requirement demonstrates that the salesperson has the knowledge to negotiate with or aid a person in locating or obtaining real estate; negotiate the price and financing for real estate; manage real estate; represent him or herself to be a real estate consultant or counselor; undertake to promote the sale, lease or other exchange of real estate, undertake to perform a comparative market analysis and employ sales persons to assist in these acts.
Each of the elective courses provide at least one broker-credit, are at least 14 hours in length and typically provide credit towards a real estate designation.
Always Seeking New Topics: If there is a course that you feel would be beneficial for the school to offer in our next session, please forward your suggestion to Paula Tansey at ptansey@suburbanwestrealtors.com or call 866-495-SWRA.
