| Broker Licensing Core Courses
In Pennsylvania, broker licensees must acquire a prescribed level of professional real estate education. Fulfillment of the education requirement demonstrates that the salesperson has the knowledge to negotiate with or aid a person in locating or obtaining real estate; negotiate the price and financing for real estate; manage real estate; represent him or herself to be a real estate consultant or counselor; undertake to promote the sale, lease or other exchange of real estate, undertake to perform a comparative market analysis and employ sales persons to assist in these acts.
Each of these courses is time intensive and feature an exam at the end. But the knowledge acquired from these courses not only provides the necessary credit (for broker and continuing education) but information to better serve your career and client. NOTE: Credits taken toward the broker designation are valid for up to ten (10) years from the date taken.
