Beginning October 2, all members will have the opportunity to vote on whether four (4) Propositions of changes to the Suburban West REALTORS Association Bylaws will be approved. The question for each of the Propositions will be included on the hard copy ballot that will be mailed to all REALTOR members on October 2. Members will be able to complete the paper ballot or vote in person at the October 23 General Membership Meeting which also marks the end of the voting period. (NOTE that the current Bylaws do not allow for electronic voting on Bylaws changes)

Proposition 1 is a major initiative of Suburban West to address professionalism of REALTORS in a meaningful way through an increase in membership standards.

The three other Propositions (Proposition 2, Proposition 3 and Proposition 4) are intended to help streamline the governance and decision-making process of the organization, including the allowance of electronic voting of future Bylaws changes.
