The governing body of the Suburban West REALTORS® Association is a Board of Directors consisting of twelve Directors. Ten Directors, including the Officers, are REALTOR® Members of the Association elected by the membership. One Director is an Affiliate Member of the Association elected by the membership, and one Director is a non-REALTOR® Director from the general public chosen because of their expertise pertaining to matters relating to the real estate industry. This position is appointed by the Board of Directors annually. Directors are elected to serve for terms of two years. Terms for the Officers and Directors are limited to three two-year terms.

Jim Ryal
Chairman of the Board
A member since 2001, Jim is a licensed salesperson with Prudential Fox & Roach in Bryn Mawr and specializes in residential resales. Jim served on the Merger/Growth Task Force in 2003 and is serving his third year on the Board of Directors. He looks forward to encouraging more members to become active in our Association and is concerned about workplace safety for the agent. Jim currently serves as a Director for the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®.

Terry Kirkwood, CRS, GRI
Chairman Elect of the Board
A member since 1988, Terry is an associate broker with Duffy Real Estate in St. Davids, managing the office. Terry currently serves on the Association’s Professional Standards Committee as an Appeals Panelist. Terry is interested in being a voice for the REALTOR® population and continuing her efforts to advocate professionalism in the industry. This is her second year serving on the Board

Tish Maloney, GRI
Secretary/Treasurer of the Board
A member since 1987, Tish is a salesperson with Century 21 Absolute Realty in Springfield. Tish specializes in residential resales and serves as the Assistant Manager in her office. This is Tish's fourth year on the Board of Directors. This is also her second year serving as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Board.

Mark Barone, GRI
A member since 1985, Mark is a licensed broker with Keller Williams in Media. He is also involved in the Association as an instructor for the Association of REALTORS® School, a member of the REALTOR®/Lawyer committee, and with RPAC. As a member of the Board of Directors, Mark plans on taking the time to keep informed of the business issues, technology issues and new laws which affect the real estate industry on a daily basis. Mark also currently serves as a Director for the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®.

David Brant, GRI
A member since 1998, Dave is an associate broker with Weichert REALTORS® in West Chester and is the Regional Manager for his company’s lead network system. Dave served as Chairman of the Board in 2007 along with serving on the organization’s Member Services and Grievance Committees. He is currently leading the Association’s Professionalism Task Force. Dave also currently serves as a Director for the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®.

Marie Griesser, ABR, GRI
A member since 1988, Marie is an associate broker with Long and Foster Real Estate in Newtown Square. Marie has been active in real estate for 27 years. She most recently served the Association on its Professionalism Task Force and the subject of professionalism remains important to her. Marie wants to demonstrate her passion for real estate and eager to help make the Association even better than it already is.

Barbara Mastronardo, ABR, GRI, SRES
A member since 1991, Barbara is a licensed broker with Russo Real Estate in Boothwyn. She is an instructor for the Association of REALTORS® School and a member of the Professional Standards and Grievance Committees. She hopes to help the Association more effectively communicate information to the membership that will be beneficial for everyone to excel and succeed in real estate, as well as becoming more active in the process of securing cost-effective medical insurance for our membership . She also currently serves as a Director for the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®.

Paul Mattus
Paul serves as the non-member representative to the Board of Directors. Paul is owner of the Allstate Mattus Insurance Company in Milmont Park and was past Chairman of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Council. He remains active in local government issues.

A member since 1990, John is a multi-licensed broker-owner of RE/MAX Hometown in Media. He has been active with the REALTORS® Education Advisory council and is a former member of the Delaware County Council. He looks forward to playing an active role in helping to shape the industry’s continued development as our business and business models change. John is also very involved with various committees throughout the community.

A member since 1993, Bill is the broker-owner of Realty Executives in West Chester. Bill currently serves on the Association’s Professional Standards Committee as an Appeals Panelist. Bill is excited to give back a little of the energy that the Association has provided him during his career on his second year as a Board Member.

Andrew Wetzel, ABR, GRI, e-PRO
A member since 1996, Andrew is a licensed agent with Century 21 Alliance in Havertown. Previously, he was Chairman of the Association’s Grievance Committee. He has been active with the Professional Standards Committee for the past several years, and is the Association Liaison for his office. Andrew hopes to ensure that all REALTORS® know the “value” of what our Board has to offer (such as Mediation, training, etc.), help to enhance the public perception of REALTORS®, and increase the member’s awareness of the Code of Ethics and the Standards of Professionalism.

Bill Worthington, III
A member since 1994, Bill has been active for 22 years in the waterproofing industry, and is owner of Brandywine/Springfield Waterproofing. He has served on various Affiliate Member committees with the previous Delaware Valley and Chester County Associations and currently is part of the Affiliate Member Forum. This is Bill’s third year on the Board and he looks forward to contributing to the growth of the organization and to continue to find ways that Affiliates can better support the Association.
