Inquirer Releases Its Annual Report Card on Schools
The 11th edition of the Philadelphia
Inquirer's Report Card on Schools in the area is now available. The report
takes an in-depth look at school in the Philadelphia region, with a focus
on test scores, teacher/ student ratios, spending and programs. Click

Happy Hour Coming to Malvern
So much of the success in real estate is
predicated on developing and maintaining relationships with others
(clients, REALTORS, and other real estate professionals). It is this belief
that has helped make the bi-monthly Suburban West REALTOR Happy Hours a
success. To enhance and expand your networking opportunities, the
Association is pleased to announce that the next Happy Hour will be held in
conjunction with the Home Builders Association of Chester and Delaware
Counties; to provide you the opportunity to develop new and meaningful
connections in new construction that could help you and your clients.
The REALTOR/ Builder Happy hour will take place on Thursday,
May 29 at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Besides
featuring FREE appetizers and drink specials, members will also have the
opportunity to submit their business cards at the door to have a chance to win
various prized donated by our Affiliate members.

April 22nd Primary
Election Reminder- REALTORS Vote
As REALTORS it is important to back
candidates who support private property rights and the real estate
industry. REALTORS are encouraged to vote in the General Primary
Election on Tuesday, April 22. Along with the opportunity to cast a
vote for a presidential nominee, there are several local and state
elections across the commonwealth. In the General Assembly, there are 24
incumbent state lawmakers retiring and 32 legislators who have a primary
election challenger. There are also races for attorney general, auditor
general and state treasurer. The Pennsylvania State Department has polling
information and a list of candidates at www.votespa.com

REALTORS and
Attorneys Work Together on Shared Issues
In Delaware County, The Real Estate
Practices committee of the Delaware County Bar Association will be host a
seminar at the Little
Inn, Media, PA on April 25, 2008 (Friday).William Pietrangelo,
Esquire, will speak about "Real Estate Issues in Administering a Decedent's
Estate"
This is a breakfast meeting. All attendees will be expected to
pay $14.00 whether or not breakfast is ordered. Delaware County Bar Members
will be charged an additional fee for CLE credit. Please ask when you
register for the amount due. All fees are due and payable at the door.
There are no real estate CE credits available for these seminars. Breakfast
will be served at 8:15 a.m. and the seminars and workshop sessions will
commence promptly at 8:45 a.m. You must contact Vincent B. Mancini,

attendance.
In Chester County, The Chester County Bar Association and the
Suburban West Realtors Association will host a forum at the Chester
County Bar Association offices at 15 W. Gay Street, West Chester,
PA. on May 1, 2008 The forum topic on May 1, 2008 is "New Construction
Agreement of Sale" This will be an open forum.

and registration center, log in and go to the events calendar.
Choose the CC Realtor Lawyer Forum for May and follow the prompts to
register and pay for your lunch with a credit card. Attendance is open to
REALTOR members and Attorneys. Each attendee must register under his/her
own name.
Reservations may be made until Tuesday, April 29th or until
room capacity whichever comes first.

people are quick to voice disapproval. What would happen if we were just as
quick-or quicker- to deliver compliments?
TriState to Offer
CCIM Course
The TriState
REALTORS Association will be hosting Introduction to Commercial Investment
Real Estate Analysis course on April 28-29 at the Spring Mill Corporate
Center in Conshohocken. The course provides 14 hours of Continuing
Education credit for the Pennsylvania real estate license renewal as well
