Professionalism Tip: The Code is Good Business
REALTORS The best way to increase business in a competitive real estate market is to provide the best possible service. No surprise there. But you may be surprised to learn that all REALTORS have a handbook for providing the best service in any market.

That's right, NAR's Code of Ethics has all of the secrets you need to succeed in any market. It is the benchmark for cooperation and service on which the National Association of REALTORS was founded in 1908. It is what separates REALTORS from all other practitioners, and it is the main reason our membership continues to grow while others are leaving the profession.

Listen to NAR President, Dick Gaylord's, podcast on the value of the Code to your business. This three minute presentation highlights the connection between ethics, professionalism and success.

The Association is saddened to inform the membership of the passing of one of it's members. A short service will be held on Saturday, February 2 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 212 Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 beginning at 10:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Memorial Fund of Covenant United Methodist Church at the above address.

Safety Tip
A year-long series of brief recommendations to promote REALTOR safety in the office and out in the field.
Use professional, polished marketing materials. All of your marketing materials should be polished and professional. Don't use alluring or provocative photography in advertising, on the Web or on your business cards. There are many documented cases of criminals actually circling photographs of their would-be victims in newspaper advertisements.
