REMINDER: Questions for TREND

The next Association Liaison meeting is scheduled for January 28, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. held at the Association office in Malvern.  In response to questions about the TREND system at the Association Liaison Invitational Event, the Association has asked TREND representatives to attend to answer your questions and discuss some recent enhancements.

This MONTH's Question:

In preparation for the next Association Liaison Meeting scheduled for January 28, we will be inviting TREND to offer a forum discussion for Association Liaisons to bring comments or feedback they have received from their respective offices.  We would like to ask the Association Liaisons to compile questions from their office that they would like to be addressed by TREND.  NOTE:  TREND will be going over Document Uploads and other recent enhancements.  Are there other specific priority issues?

***Please email your compiled responses to Mary Lim at mlim@suburbanwestrealtors.com prior to the January 28 meeting.

Mortgage

Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act Approved

In December, President Bush signed the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act of 2007, which will help Americans avoid foreclosure by protecting families from higher taxes when they refinance their home mortgages.  NAR has been advocating for such a change to the IRS tax code for nearly 10 years.  This Act will increase the incentive for borrowers and lenders to work together to refinance loans and allow American families to secure lower mortgage payments.  To read more about how this Act will help prevent a flood of mortgage foreclosures, click here.
