Follow-Up Questions on TREND

In response to the concerns brought up about TREND at the Association Liaison Invitational Event, the Association has asked TREND to attend our next Association Liaison meeting scheduled for January 28, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. held here at the Association office in Malvern.

This MONTH's Question:

In preparation for the next Association Liaison Meeting scheduled for January, we will be inviting TREND to offer a forum discussion for Association Liaisons to bring comments or feedback they have received from their respective offices.  We would like to ask the Association Liaisons to compile questions from their office that they would like to be addressed by TREND.  NOTE:  TREND will be going over Document Uploads and other recent enhancements.  Are there other specific priority issues?

Please provide your response to Mary Lim at mlim@suburbanwestrealtors.com.

Be Mindful of Local Sign Ordinances

Many of the 238 municipalities in Southeastern Pennsylvania have adopted sign ordinances which could limit how you display open house directional and for sale signs.  It is important for a REALTOR to be familiar with what is permitted within the municipalities where properties are listed. Click here to read more.

PAR Standard Forms In Spanish

The Pennslyvania Association of REALTORS (PAR) has had many of the most commonly used Standard Forms translated into Spanish exclusively for REALTOR members.  They are perfect for assisting Spanish-speaking clients and customers.  NOTE: These forms are for reference ONLY and CANNOT be specifically used in actual transactions.  Access to these forms are for members ONLY by clicking here.

Also some updates in Standard Forms, there will be two new forms due to be released in January 2008.  The Referral Form may be used by REALTORS to memorialize a referral from one agent to another.  The Price Escalation Addendum to the Agreement of Sale will assist in transactiona where the buyer wishes to make an offer with a price escalation component.  The SWRA Standard Forms Forum served as a focus group for both forms.  Suggestions from our members were considered for the final drafts of both forms.  Look for these in print and electronic format in January.
