FHA: A New and Improved
Viable Option For Many
Buyers
Many REALTORS and their
clients have stayed away from Federal Housing Administration
(FHA) loans due to onerous restrictions. However
since 2006, the FHA has improved its programs by streamlining
the appraisal process, eliminating restrictions on closing
costs, adopting electronic processing, and allowing lenders to
do their own insurance approvals. FHA loans may be the answer to
homeowners caught in the adjustable rate crunch by refinancing
their loans which are resetting at rates they can't
afford. To
read more on this, click
here.
The National
Association of REALTORS (NAR) has created a brochure on FHA Mortgages to give to your clients. The brochure will give you and your
clients a better understanding of these loans and their
benefits.
