Welcome to the March edition of the Association Liaison E-Source. This monthly e-mail notice provides indepth information on hot button issues affecting REALTORS and the real estate industry. It also features information on upcoming Association events and updates on services.

The E-Source is meant to provide information that you can either present at upcoming office meetings or forward to your colleagues via email or casual conversation.  Exclusive Networking Workshop for Association Leaders
 

Association Liaisons are invited to attend an upcoming FREE Networking Workshop on Thursday, April 19 from 9am-12pm titled "How to Build Relationships and Sales Through Networking" held at the Association office in Malvern.

Attendees will learn powerful networking tools by Dale Caregie that can be used to grow your client base. Founded in 1912, Dale Carnegie Training is a performance-based training company, widely recognized as the foremost business trainer in the world.This workship will show you how to work the room like a Carnegie pro and meet other fellow leaders in the Association. The session will also provide an opportunity to disscuss the Liaison Program.

 2007 School Report Card
 

Get the facts on teachers, district spending, test scores and more for public and private schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Philadelphia Inquirer has an interactive report card database that draws from statistics published by the Departments of Education in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Most of the data in Report Card on the Schools come from Inquirer surveys of public school districts as well as technical and charter schools in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania, and Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties in New Jersey. Private high schools in the eight counties were also surveyed.

 Standard Forms FORUM

Do you have suggestions or comments about the standard forms? Now is your chance to be heard. A panel of Suburban West members currently serving on the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS (PAR) Standard Forms Oversight Committee and Feedback Panel will facilitate discussion about standard forms at the Association's office in Malvern on Friday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The objective of this FREE forum is to provide members with information on what is new in standard forms and to solicit comments and suggestions on the use of forms in everyday practice. The committee members will digest the information and bring relevant suggestions and comments back to PAR.
